Best Laptop for Designing

If you work with Photoshop, Illustrator, graphic design, photo editing or other creative software, don't choose a laptop based only on processor or RAM.

What Should You Look For?

Processor: Look for a capable Intel Core i5 / i7 or AMD Ryzen 5 / Ryzen 7, depending on your work.
RAM: 16GB is a good choice for heavier designing and multitasking.
Storage: 512GB SSD or more is useful when working with large files.
Graphics: For demanding design, 3D or video work, check whether a dedicated GPU is required.
Display: A good quality display is important when working with photos, colours and design work.

Which Work Are You Doing?

Work	What to Look For
Canva & Basic Design	Good processor + 8GB RAM + SSD
Photoshop	Good processor + 16GB RAM + SSD
Illustrator	Good processor + RAM + quality display
Video Editing	Strong processor + 16GB RAM + suitable graphics
3D / Heavy Work	Powerful processor + dedicated GPU + 16GB+ RAM

Don't Ignore the Display

When you're working on designs, the display matters. Look at the resolution, brightness and colour quality instead of choosing only based on processor specifications.
